Note according to the Battery Act
INFORMATION OBLIGATION ACCORDING TO THE BATTERY LAW
You have purchased a battery or a battery-operated product from us. Although the battery has a very long lifespan, it will still have to be disposed of at some point. We therefore draw your attention to the following in accordance with Section 18 of the Battery Act:
End users are legally obliged not to dispose of batteries in household waste, but to return them.
You can take batteries to a suitable collection point and return them there free of charge.
Used batteries may contain pollutants or heavy metals that can harm the environment and health. Batteries can be recycled because they contain important raw materials such as iron, zinc, manganese or nickel.
Batteries and accumulators that contain harmful substances are marked with the symbol of a crossed-out garbage can and the chemical name of the harmful substance.
The symbols under the garbage cans stand for:
Pb: Battery contains lead
Cd: Battery contains cadmium
Hg: Battery contains mercury
